VIA SBRINZ

The hard cheese called «Sbrinz» became a much sought after export from Central Switzerland to Northern Italy in the late Middle Ages. It played a major role in the development of the mule track through Grimsel and Gries Passes into full fledged trade route. The ViaSbrinz revives the old freight hauler tradition and passes through historic stretches and footbridges from Central Switzerland to Northern Italy. This is a cooperation between the ViaStoria –
