ALPS OF THE LAKE OF GENEVA REGION

Ideally located for your hiking holidays, the Alps of the Lake of Geneva Region are on the northern banks of Lake Geneva, close to the estuary of the Rhone. The wonderful surroundings have splendid landscapes with impressive stone quarries, cliff walls rich in calcium deposits, towering mountain peaks and passes at high altitudes, lush green valleys and invigorating mountain lakes. Barely after start, you get to admire the rich fauna and flora and the impressive panorama! The traditional round trip passes through Aigle via Leysin, Les Mosses, Château-d’Oex, L’Etivaz, Les Diablerets, Villars and Gryon. The daily treks range from 3 to 7 hours in duration. There is something on offer at each of the intermediate stops: climb to Kuklos, cheese making units, swimming pool, bowling, visit to the cheese cellars in l’Etivaz, a drive up to Glacier 3000, minigolf, swimming pool, visit to the salt mines, etc.: the hiking stages are rather short, leaving a lot of time to discover the surprises at each location!
