| The classic North South Route with Lake
Lucerne, the Gotthard Pass and Lago
Maggiore as Highlights is now available in
a cheaper budget variant: With hospitable
youth hostels for accommodation. Of course,
these youth hostels can also be used by
guests in other age groups. Since SwissTrails has a corporate membership, you will
not need a membership card. The route has
two hurdles in terms of the elevation profile:
The gentle, green Jura and the Gotthard
Pass (2108m) In between these two
the route is nice and flat. The destination in
Tessin could be Locarno, Lugano and Figino,
depending on your choice. Upon arrival,
enjoy the mild southern climate of the
Tessin with a few more days of relaxation
thrown in! |
